Like I mentioned yesterday, a new work life and daily schedule lies
ahead for me. Although already in full effect, I am making adjustments
on how I approach my days. Obviously I need to get things done,
especially as a small business owner, but I feel like doing so
differently that I do now.
I plan to start every day with positive affirmations and meditation so I can set the tone for the day of ease and with clarity. Basically I need to remind myself things will get done without me going crazy for planning so hardcore. This is partly due to me being very organized and I like to get checks on my lists, but I recognize a pattern where I run myself down. Then I have to recoup and rest, only to feel slightly better and start all over. I absolutely burn my candle at both ends and it is exhausting to live such a way.
Our business plan is evolving in exciting ways so I want to be focused and intentional but also balanced and enjoying the now. I have some developing thoughts on the expression "work smarter, not harder" I will continue to flesh out and I'll share thoughts as I go.
Work/Life balance is no joke.
