Flamingo and Fabulous

Flamingo, flamingo. How I love thee! No really, I'm a big fan of this elegant creature. How can you not be? They're pretty in pink!! Literally! This pictures needs to be blown up and posted up in my creative space, I do believe.

For sure I have a thing for the 'mingos. One of the very best birthday gifts I received for my 30th last year is actually a fabulous Kate Spade flamingo ring, who I affectionately named Linelle Bedez Hyde:

Her namesake is inspired by two beauties/bffs who gifted her, Lizetty and DB. They know me so well! With friends like these my heart is full.

I wonder, what are the guidelines for owning your own flamingo? Asking for a friend...

Self care reset

We all hear the buzzwords self care more than ever these days. Every where you turn, a lifestyle blogger, health guru, or magazine article shares insight on ways to treat yo self to some basic T. While I love modern discussions as much as the next girl, I’m aware sometimes it just doesn’t fit and you have to reset what isn’t working. For example, some weeks I am just done by the tine Friday hits. Reset on a Weekend

One of my favorite things in the world is laying in bed on a weekend night watching Netflix movies while my Hunter and my Ro nap next to me and I scroll Instagram home design and wellness accounts as well. This is particularly enjoyable after an extra long week, I might add. I feel calm and giddy alike throughout this downtime. I am able to relax and unwind, often taking mindfulness breaks and enjoying a komboocha or lemon water simultaneously. It couldn’t be any more basic. This recharge makes me naturally happy creating reflection and gratefulness for everything in my life. I’m a hard worker with determination and I like to reach goals and make new ones so I feel like I’m on more than I’m not.
