The littlest lamb

These pictures are from when Hunter and I recently spent time with our only niece. We re-met her in October because she lives in West Virginia and we last saw her in November last year, when she was approximately 2 months old. For this visit, she had pierced ears, wobbled around on her own, and showed off her gorgeous and outgoing personality with each action she took. She is an actual living, breathing baby doll you just want to bite for all her cuteness. Well, I do anyway. That's typically my response to anything ridiculously cute, partially or fully chubby, and/or if you have sausage toes.

Once upon a time, there was a magical land called Forever 21 where alllll the fun accessories you'll ever need lived...

We have 3 nephews older than this little lamb, and they are also examples of amazingness through and through, but man, there is something about the first baby girl...

Look at her paw!! She has her first sugar cookie from her auntie Meggie. OMG I want to gnaw on her hand!!

Self care reset

We all hear the buzzwords self care more than ever these days. Every where you turn, a lifestyle blogger, health guru, or magazine article shares insight on ways to treat yo self to some basic T. While I love modern discussions as much as the next girl, I’m aware sometimes it just doesn’t fit and you have to reset what isn’t working. Reset on a Weekend

One of my favorite things in the world is laying in bed on a weekend night watching Netflix movies while my Hunter and my Ro nap next to me and I scroll Instagram home design and wellness accounts as well. This is particularly enjoyable after an extra long week, I might add. I feel calm and giddy alike throughout this downtime. I am able to relax and unwind, often taking mindfulness breaks and enjoying a komboocha or lemon water simultaneously. It couldn’t be any more basic. This recharge makes me naturally happy creating reflection and gratefulness for everything in my life. I’m a hard worker with determination and I like to reach goals and make new ones so I feel like I’m on more than I’m not.
