What I did today:
-Figured out which pictures to print for family pic gifts
-Went through the checkout at Target Three.Times.In.Ten.Minutes. Yes, that's right.
-All together I purchased boo-ku frames, super fab too-sparkles y'all!; one roll of gorge black wrapping paper with simple stencil sketched, ivory flowers; a strand of ribbon stapled together, meant to go to one gift usually. I promptly had Hunter remove said staple with scissors so I could disassemble to make ribbon for many gifts, already curled. Oh, yes. Time/finger-saver, good friends. And I only had to make two stops for more photos to be printed out. Whoo, I'm exhausted all over again.
-Got home, forced Hunter awake from his nap to look at my finds, explained my wrapping ideas, woke Hunter up again from nodding off, grabbed my tape, scissors, and some extra trinkets I've had around the house this year. Items included these floral table embellishments from Andrea's bridal shower and a gold paint pen. I have used both of these investments numerously and quite enjoy every new idea better than the last. I love keeping these around for good moments like this.
I refused to run back into the depths of hell aka Target once more. I also figured I either had gift name tags from the last time I bought a pack 3 years ago- stuff lasts forever! If I didn't have those I'd sort it out. And that's what I did. I took the cardboard backs from the frames I bought and cut them down to about half size. Adds a simple elegance and crafty-chic appeal dontchathink?
I love this print!
Said pictures being gifted:
I had so much fun!
Feeling festive,
Meggie
